Tucker's prides itself on using only the highest quality fish and seafood, sourced from sustainable sources. Tucker's fishmongers are all trained and highly skilled, providong only the finest products to their customers.
The Policy
Tuckers is committed to achieving the following objectives;
- Providing customers with high quality products which are safe, meet requirements & legal standards and are fit for their purpose.
- Operating the business to the systems required by ISO 9001: 2000.
- Enhancing the skills of management and staff through review and actively pursuing an on-going training policy, the objective of which is to prepare staff to perform their work more effectively.
- Promoting the culture of continual quality improvements and the philosophy of getting things right first time.
- Complying with all legislative requirements, e.g. EC Regulations 852 & 853/2004, Food Safety Act (1990) Food Labeling Regulations (1996).
- Promoting the quality management systems and ensuring imple- mentation is achieved by internal auditing, management review, cor- rective and preventive action.
Every employee within Tuckers is responsible for the quality within the com- pany and for maintaining high standards.
